Prepare to Rent

This is the 3rd and probably last time that I will work in this house.  The owners moved out and wanted me to finish the rehab and transition to rental house.  The house needed so much attention, and they did not do it while they lived there.

For example, when they had their air conditioner installed, the installers left the ceiling looking like this:

So, I closed in a portion with drywall and created a hatch to enter the attic.  Then we painted the ceiling, walls, trim, and doors
A large section of the 3rd floor hallway was cracking and peeling.  The baseboard had holes and chipping paint.
We cleaned it all up and painted it.
The final thing we did was make everything match.  Many of the doors were painted and needed some repairs.  Others were not painted at all.
So, since we were painting the ceilings, walls, and trim on the 3rd floor, we made all of the doors in the house match.
We worked on this house over 18 months and 3 phases to make a true transition.
